XLT Praise and Worship

When we go to Mass, we have an amazing chance to receive Jesus in the Eucharist. It's the most powerful way to connect with Him. But there's something else that's super special called Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. It's when we spend extra time with Jesus in the Eucharist because we want to be even closer to Him. That's why we have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, to make more time for us to be with Jesus. XLT is all about that—growing deeper in our relationship with Jesus.

XLT is a really cool devotion that brings together joyful singing, powerful messages about God's Word, and spending time with Jesus in the Eucharist. When we sing and worship, it's like our prayers become super strong because music can touch our hearts deeply. Our hearts open up and we reach out to God with everything we've got. And you know what? He reaches back and embraces us! So, we start XLT with awesome songs to fix our eyes on God and give ourselves to Him completely.

After the songs, we listen to a message that helps us think about God's love and how it applies to our lives. It's like God speaking to each of us personally through the message. Then, we get to adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. We alternate between singing and staying quiet. See, in any relationship, we need to give and receive, speak and listen. That's why both singing and silence are important. We sing our love to God, and in the silence, He speaks His love to us.

Finally, we end XLT with a thankful song. We thank God for everything He's done for us and most importantly, for who He is and how much He loves us. Then, we take that gratitude with us and keep growing our relationship with Jesus in our daily lives. It's a mix of traditional and new Catholic practices coming together to help us connect with God in a super awesome way!
