Consider Putting STA Parish In Your Will

After taking care of their loved ones, some parishioners choose to place St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in their wills. Thus ensuring the long-term ministry of our parish. Bequests are free of estate tax and can take various forms. A bequest can be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of an estate, or all or part of a residual estate. St. Thomas Aquinas Parish can also be named a contingent beneficiary in the event someone named in a will is no longer living. You can give needed support to our parish by simply including the following statement in your will:
"I give, devise, and bequeath to the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, a Corporation Sole, for the benefit of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM, 87124, (Insert amount given here) to be used to support the ministry of the parish."
It is recommended that a lawyer assist in drafting or amending a will.
