Walking with Teens to encounter Christ

Welcome Home

Don't Miss a Minute of Our Exciting, Life Changing, Jesus-Centered Life Teen This Year!

St. Thomas Aquinas  has implemented Life Teen as our Christian Formation program for 9-12 grades.
Life Teen isn’t just another class—it's led by a CORE TEAM of dedicated adults who are active in our parish. Each week, they pray for our teens, connect with them in a relational setting, and teach the truth in a comfortable, content-filled program. Join us and experience the difference!

Our mission is to lead teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church, with the Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, by teaching the fullness of  the faith, challenging teens to live it in their daily lives. Sacramental preparation for Confirmation is included during the Life Nights, in addition to supplemental times of preparation.

Who Should Attend?

All 9th-12th graders in the parish! Life Teen is for your Christian Formation. Along with attending Mass every Sunday and participating in Life Nights, we offer exciting retreats and activities throughout the year. Life Teen is open to ALL high school students—whether you need sacraments or already have them. Registration helps you stay updated on events, track your sacrament formation progress, and get first dibs on retreats. Best of all, it’s completely FREE!

What is Life Teen?

Life Teen is an international Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church  and catechesis program that seeks to lead teens closer to Christ. The Life Teen catechesis or Christian Formation “classes” are called Life Nights.

When does Life Teen Meet?

You've got options and tons of flexibility! Life Teen is packed with a variety of events, so you can pick what excites you most. Join us for Life Nights on Sundays at 7 pm and/or Mid-Week Connect on Wednesdays at 7 pm. The goal is to experience a mix of both – that way, you’ll get the best of everything Life Teen has to offer!

Our Goal

The goal of Life Teen is to create an environment to lead teens into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. It speaks to teens on all levels: emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual. It provides a place for teens to find solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions that they have about their faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way.

What and How We Teach?

Life Teen follows the USCCB Doctrinal Framework for High School Catechesis and is on a four-year cycle specifically to make sure all high-schoolers have the opportunity to attend all four years of their high-school career without hearing the same exact topics. So whether your teen has come before or not, have their Sacraments or not, or even if they’re not Catholic…they can Join us and hear something new.

The evening begins with a Mass directed specifically towards teens, which is followed immediately by the Life Night, which falls under one of three categories: catechetical, issue, or social. Teens experience  an atmosphere of love and acceptance from their peers and the adult leaders (Core) who are there to assist them in their journey.

Teens that desire Sacraments  (baptism, communion, or confirmation) will complete formation while attending Life Teen, in addition to supplemental times of preparation.

Join Life Teen for an unforgettable journey! We gather usually on Sundays and Wednesday, all year round. Dive in whenever you're ready and don't forget to check out our calendar for all the exciting events!

Confirmation
Formation

AKA -  "The Purpose phase"

Purpose is our Confirmation Formation program designed for high school students in grades 10 through 12, spanning the entire academic year.

Our team accompanies your teenager on their spiritual journey as they deepen their faith in preparation for receiving God's gift of sanctifying grace in the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Purpose represents a profound shift in the approach to confirmation, emphasizing transformation over mere information. It is not a traditional classroom-style lecture; rather, it provides a unique opportunity for a personal encounter with Christ.

Purpose extends beyond being a checkbox program; it represents a comprehensive and innovative approach to sacramental preparation.
