FUNDRAISING

At St. Thomas Aquinas Youth Ministry, we understand that teens may need financial assistance to participate in retreats, camps, conferences, and mission trips. Our goal is to ensure that finances don't hinder their attendance. That's why we offer fundraising support to help you raise the necessary funds.

Fundraising goes beyond collecting money; it's an opportunity for spiritual growth, stewardship, and generosity. Inspired by Henri Nouwen's teachings on the "spirituality of fundraising," we believe it's about inviting others to join our mission, building relationships, and sharing our passion.

In the Catholic faith, fundraising has a long history. St. Paul, an apostle and missionary, recognized the importance of financial support for his ministry. He demonstrated self-sufficiency by using his skills to provide for himself while spreading the Gospel. St. Paul's example teaches us to utilize our own talents to contribute to our mission.

During your high school years, there may come a time when fundraising is needed for an event. Embrace it as an opportunity to trust in God's provision, cultivate gratitude, and share your faith journey with others. By engaging in fundraising, you're not just raising funds, but also evangelizing and inviting others to join you on a path of faith, community, and joyful experiences.

If you require any financial assistance to attend a special event, please let us know.
